The Queen’s Cigar!

“The Queen B is the newest addition to the Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente series. These cigars represent four generations of family tradition, love, pride, and personal sacrifice. It is the Fuentes’ personal family touch that makes Arturo Fuente the world’s finest cigars. From the first tobacco seed planted to the final family guarantee label that seals each box, Carlos Fuente, Sr. and Jr., personally oversee every step in the cigar making process. The superior craftsmanship of Tabacalera A. Fuente creates consistently flawless cigars. Taking no short cuts, Arturo Fuente cigars are made completely by hand – the same way that family patriarch, Arturo Fuente, did 100 years ago.”

Ring Gauge: 5.7×50  Belicoso

Tobacco: Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper with Dominican filler.

Appropriately, I couldn’t wait to try the “Queen B” – and as I usually do, I compare my findings with the many other reviewers’ out there in the blogosphere. Some agreed with me, and thought it was a “kick ass” smoke, while others thought it was mild to medium, and not worth the six bucks?

Could it have been that I let the Queen rest in her castle for a couple of months before I smoked? the seasoning strengthened with time?

As I expected the cigar lit easily – no problem there, and the well constructed smooth oily Sun Grown had a firm smooth draw; immediate white billowing smoke from first draw.

Now, I’ve also read this cigar may be somewhat a light weight choice for a few veteran cigar enthusiasts out there, but my experience was this Queen is not for the newbie – and ladies, ya might wanna sit down for this one!

I would rate this cigar, medium to full bodied, peppery lingering spice, earthy tones, with a slight coffee caramel in the background. “>I would agree that there was a slight uneven burn approaching midway and carrying through until the final leg, but once the end approached the burn seemed to straighten itself out.

Keeping with the family tradition representing four generations of  love, pride, and personal sacrifice, the Queen B of the Chateau Fuente Series has the touch that makes Arturo Fuente the world’s finest cigars.

And if you dare to let this Queen rest in her chamber, once awakened she will knock your socks off, and let you know who really is Queen!

From one Queen to another – the Queen B gets this ladies nod…
