Two sides of the coin…
There’s no doubt there is an increase in the popularity of Women Cigar Smokers among the cigar community – and no doubt, the object of my mission was to create an awareness and give recognition, where recognition was long overdue, to the value and importance of women in the cigar community – not only as participants, but as contributing consumers!
Along with our newly acquired recognition, I’ve discovered a noticeable increase in the coverage of women cigar smokers. What’s raised my curiosity is the spotlight of women cigar smokers on blogs and even a “Squidoo Lens” are created by men – and I would also give thanks, as we are credibly represented. There are two sides to every coin I say – the “heads” up gives us women cigar enthusiasts the recognition we so rightly deserve, and the more the merrier – after all, it is our party. The “tails” side of the coin speaks to the motive behind the authorship of certain particular cigar sites. The question occurred to me - is the sudden, and well deserved portrayal of women cigar smokers authentically represented, or is our popularity used as a means to satisfy the creator’s desire to become part of the cigar blogosphere – in other words, and I’ll put it mildly, are we being exploited?
hmmm…just had to ask fellas!
