Mr. Sharp, we’ve had this conversation before…There are a lot of Aficionada out there as well!
While Cigar shops fret over higher taxes and smoking laws, let’s not get so wrapped up in all the red tape that we allow them to take away the richness and true meaning of the cigar culture.
Mark Twain once said he always tried not to smoke two cigars at once. Winston Churchill smoked cigars in peacetime and wartime – and John F. Kennedy enjoyed cigars — although he barred the import of Cuban cigars….
and sister Dee, enjoys her local cigar lounge’s Tuesday morning group with cups of Joe and doughnuts.
Our culture is deep in tradition – its culture can never be legislated, regulated or classified. We are culturalists who enjoy the community of the leaf and the camaraderie of companion…and that is something that can never be outlawed….try as they might…remove the culture from the cigar culturalist?
I don’t think so!
