"....And thanks for creating Cigars 4 Women.
Its nice to be validated"
Its always so nice to get emails from members and friends, confirming that your efforts are appreciated and deeds are not going unnoticed...but when the accolade is received from a member of the social community I created....well, that reinforces my purpose, and motivation!
I must be wearing a virtual perfume....
I then received this email from a friend on CigarLive
"..... I enjoy reading thru your posts on here as I think you have a very keen insight on our hobby. Being a woman in a very much male dominated hobby you offer an insight that men often miss and we probably need a womans reflection to help re adjust our position as men tend to let their testosterone do their talking. Again, thank you for your thoughts."
The email refers to a discussion we've been having at Cigar Live.com on anti-smoking laws and its affect on the cigar community...
"...Now that we will have the largest community we will also have the largest amount of hard core smokers. I believe that we will have a very strong voice as long as we can organize it...."
Naturally, I've been tracking the thread, and offering my 2 cents - and although some of the membership have kicked up their heels in protest to the "Great Merge of 2008" - the innovation behind bringing the 2 most popular cigar communities under one umbrella, was incredibly forward thinking in my view. Credibility and a powerful voice is what the cigar community needs to advance and exercise the right of choice. Being an innovative, free thinking and self proclaimed guru of vision, this Cigar Woman wholly supports the efforts of Puff.com.
Cigar Live together with its membership will now be the strong voice of the cigar hobbiest.
Cigar Bar360 is going under the knife - a whole new look is around the corner!
