We call her Mrs. T....

"I am a 33 year young female from a small town in West Texas.  I am happily married to a very wonderful man who supports me on every venture I take on.  I am the proud owner and breeder of Boston Terriers and Toy Poodles, these are my children.  I have a fine tuned passion and obsession for coffee...No decaf drinker here!

I got into smoking cigars by finding a hobby for my husband, and I have enjoyed it ever since.  I like my cigars like I like my coffee, strong and BLACK!  My husband came to me with the most beautiful cinnamon skin, and this is the only cameroon wrapper I prefer, but as far as my cigars go I enjoy Maduros and Oscuros, the darker the better.  I enjoy a nice earthiness with hints of nuts and smokiness.  I enjoy a good stiff cup of killer beans with every cigar I smoke.  Smoking cigars has helped me show some people that smoking is no longer just a man's domain, but more and more women are coming into it and I am proud to be a part of this.  Another thing that cigar smoking has opened me up to is smoking a pipe.  And now this is another enjoyable venture I have taken on.  To me it is very stress relieving, like smoking cigars and is there for me while my favorite Camacho Triple Maduro is aging beautifully in my humidor.  I strongly encourage all SOTL to open their minds and just try pipe smoking, I know not all of you will like it but at least try it."

Mrs. T is a delightful woman, a devoted wife and a woman of her own discretion.  When asked what were her favorite smokes she offered a list fit for any well versed enthusionado:

The face of the Cigar Woman comes as so many different shades and styles - the diversity of this new cigar group, is amazing to me.  Mrs. T - we luv ya gurl, but I'm not so sure about trying the Pipe, I'll probably stay with the cigar!

House flips, weakens smoking ban

"Smoking would be allowed in most bars, casinos and some restaurants under a significant legislative revision to a proposed statewide tobacco ban approved Wednesday by the Iowa House.

Smoking opponents called the new version of the bill a devastating blow to an earlier proposal that would have prohibited smoking at an estimated 99 percent of Iowa's public places. They said the exemption approved by the House would weaken current law because, in some cases, special nonsmoking sections of restaurants would be unnecessary......

The major provision approved Wednesday allows smoking in restaurants, bars, hotels, clubs and casinos that sell alcohol for on-premise drinking, during times when only those 21 or older are invited or admitted...."
