so ask her....Corojo or Criollo
"Once upon a time, legions of men were seduced by Maria Guerrero…the legendary cigar named after the celebrated Spanish actress who graced the stage a century ago."
and Once upon a time, it was a woman a cigar and seduction.....
Fast forward to June 2008, and ask one of the many Women who Smoke Cigars what characteristic of the cigar do they prefer when choosing which to smoke.
She answers.... "Hmmmmm.....the perfect cigar. Can't I just request that he bring back the Gurkha Genghis Khan? No? Well, nuts.
I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of materials and construction, so my description would probably be too touchy-feely too make much sense to the poor guy. That being the case, I'd say: Anywhere from 4 1/2" to 6" long, anywhere from 46-52 ring gauge, and DARK. Nice thick, creamy smoke - none of that thin, watery bunk. Plenty of ligero- I like 'em nice and full. Throw in that "dusky" flavor that I love so much in the Edge Maduro Toro and the Oliva V Beli with a hefty, hearty helping of coffee, baking chocolate, a little leather and just a touch of spice (no pepper, please). Top it off with a nice, beefy, "chewy" Brazilian maduro wrapper, preferably Aripiraca OR that yummy Costa Rican maduro that Rocky seems so fond of. No "lumber" and no fake 'n' bake, dip-dyed maduros, please.
Also, I'd like a nice, sexy band that pops right off at the seam."
Women know what they smoke - they have their preference in ring guage, vitolas, wrappers, flavors and complexities.
"I've been smoking hand rolled cigars for more than 20 years. I like Churchill or double corona length cigars with very large ring gauge. I smoke smaller gauge cigars sometimes, but I prefer a cigar to be at least a 52 - 60 gauge.
I find that a large gauge cigar gives me a much smoother draw and a lotmore smoke. I acquired my taste for cigars while in school. I started smoking machine made cigars like; Colts, El Producto and White Owls at parties, and eventually graduated to hand rolled cigars.
I like the smell of a cigar when it comes out of the humidor, and I enjoy the sweet taste of the wrapper when I put it in my mouth to wet it down a little before lighting it. It’s like an appetizer; it prepares my palate for the blast of flavour that’s coming. ."
There U have it - She smokes cigars because she can....
