Here's a little snippet of the saucy discussions we're having at C4W
It took me 3 Uturns, 2 completely illegal lane changes, and 1 really close call with a pole... but I found a shop that's on my list to visit. Pulling up I could see that he's been there awhile, prolly got loads of 'collectables' all over the shop. And prolly a good stash of cool sticks and accessories. Oh yeaaahhh.. collectables all right...the kind that should'a been placed in the trash loooong ago. Ahem.
I open the door to be pounced on by a black kitten.. who had claws.. who was being chased by a really ugly dog. So ugly he had a trophy for just that. Did you know that a kittens claw can get through denim? Even draw some blood. And if you don't get the said kitten off your leg fast enough.. it will climb you like a jungle cat. So Im yanking the adorable vampire feline off my leg, and ugly pup is barking away and hopping around... peeing. Im yanking a kitten off me and dodging pee spurts. While holding a box of cigars and my lil briefcase.. and a drink..with a cigar in my mouth. All this after driving 3 hours. And the dude was laughing 'cause he thought it was 'cute' how we were playing. Yeah. Cute.
Shop 2 was less active. And it only took me 1 UTurn to find it. A cute lil standalone shop with a canary yellow paint job. I knew it was brand spanking new, but it's in my area -- so in I go. Small, but packed with goodies. The whole shop was humidified. No walk-in, no cabinates... the whole shop was humidified. And it was 79 outside. I think it was 89 inside. Did I mention the whole store was humidified? And did I mention I think it was 89 inside? Just checking.

The best part about the hotel? I got a room with a view!! Yeah baby!! I75. I rock. Clean and with a view. Im high livin... AND I can smoke in the room... Im eyeing my Don Lino 1989 Maduro Torpedo. It will be sacrificed to the hotel Gods....ahhhhh I love this job.

Overall: "Overall the Altadis U.S.A.site is useful and a very effective and nothing real over the top likeexcessive use of Flash. I think some other manufacturers could take some ideas from them when redesigning their sites
Cigar Inspector reviewed the Vegas Robaina Clasico. Now, anyone that knows me knows that this cigar has been on my "Wish List" seems forever. So as I was bouncing around, landing of course at CigarInspector, I had to give a shout out to David's review.

David reports a fine mix of cocoa, sweet grass, with a creamy backdrop - even burn, firm to the touch, with a smooth even draw. Approaching mid way, "the taste remained rich and smooth. The cocoawas gone but there were hints of sweet grass and the creaminess wasdeveloping more."
Overall Rating : - Not too bad, after this review, the Vegas Robaina Clasico just got bumped closer to the top of my "Wish List"
