Busy is as Busy Does - and I have been busy this week!

First order of business this weekend is to officially announce the Grand Opening of Cigars4Women, the sister site of Social Cigar and a forum created for the Sisters of the Leaf, aka Women who Smoke Cigars. A revolutionary place for women to discuss, quantify and lend manufacturers insight into this valuable but under served market segment!

Let's face it ladies, the cigar community is still a male dominated culture, and although, women have taken the lead in some of the industry's top executive roles, the presence of us women is dependant upon where and how our brother's walk.  That's ok, and that's alright - I love our brothers, for they are the Men who Love Us, but we still need to make our mark and solidify our right to be here! Hence the need for Cigars4Women aka Women who Smoke Cigars. You will find News and Reviews, Ask a Rep, Dinner Wine - Cigar Anyone, and It's our Revolution - Cigar Companies Wanted; as the flag ship groups formed. Our membership will grow once word gets out that our board is a free flowing discussion for women to virtually herf with one another. And as a sister, spin off of Social Cigar its success will follow the success of Social Cigar, as we will not venture far from our brothers!

Please come by join our revolution and support our cause to put a credilble face back on the face of Women Cigar Smokers!

Second order of business - is to announce a new advertiser program on this blog.  You will notice a new ad banner placed above my jazzy header! The readership of this blog is growing. We're in the top 3 as ranked on  Top Cigar Sites and Cigar Topsites! Watch for how to advertise here or check with the Contact Us page at the Cigar Bar360 for advertising details.

Now what has the rest of the Gang been up to in the Blogoshpere!

Let's start with my friend the Cigar Inspector!

The Cigar Inspector gives us a complete viewing of Cigar Reviews for the week as posted on March 29/08. Included was from the family of my first smoke ever!  The RyJ Short Churchill by Kevin.

"...he crept into my life introduced me to a Romeo y Julieta on Sunset, and crept back out..."

Great smoke, as I said before I will always remember my first... here's what Cigar Inspector had to say about the Short Churchill...

"Recently appeared on the market, I’ve heard rumors that this cigar was exceptionally interesting. However, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations."

Appearance : Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating  "...the wrapper was a little bit rough to the touch, although it had a beautiful almost-maduro color."

Flavor : Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating "...The first third is very grassy and herbaceous with noticeable amounts of woody scents. Somewhere in the middle, the cigar gets remarkably spicy but the spice completely disappears in the beginning of the last third, replaced by strong earthy notes that are present until the very end."

"Overall Rating : Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating
I smoked this one right after the Ramon Allones Specially Selectedto compare and I must admit the RyJ completely lost the challenge. Perhaps it was my particular piece though, so feel free to give it a try (and don’t forget to let me know about the result!)."

CigarsDirect has a great catalogue for purchasing Camacho Corojo!

Camacho Corojo Monarca must be one of the mostfull-bodied cigars that I ever smoked. Its power is simply overwhelming, this toy might easily knock you down. Fine construction most of the time and the looks are also satisfying. A decent cigar overall.

Overall Rating : Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating.Rating
This Camacho is aimed at veteran smokers who are used to full-strength cigars. Obviously, if you prefer milder smokes, the Corojo Monarca is not your best choice.

Speaking of Camacho - Camacho has another new contest. You have to create a video commercial for Camacho, and you get a chance to win $2500 cash of 10 boxes of their cigars.
